About Us

Gather - Grow - Create - Give Back

What We Believe

We believe we are better together and seek to provide a place for our community that provides a greater purpose and meets a desperate need for more than just surface level interaction. Our goal is to create a growing and vibrant community of strong women and families who embrace and encourage each other, not just while at The Grove, but beyond as they engage in community support related activities.

Who We Are

Nikki Parlier of Under The Oaks Jewelry will curate an artisan boutique including her own lovely jewelry alongside several other talented artisans’ beautiful work. She will also chair community relations and membership, homeschool activities, and special events.

Beth Kutcher of Life Seasons Support and Counseling Services will provide a variety of workshops and seminars centered around emotional and spiritual well-being. From story time to creative ways to express feelings for children and adults, she will provide activities that seem like play but have a greater, deeper purpose.

Liz Giertz of My Messy Desk will provide a wide range of creative clubs, workshops, and art parties throughout the week. Monthly events include Yarn & Yak (for those who enjoy knitting or crocheting or just want to learn how), Scrap Happy Scrapbooking club, Snail Mail Card Club, Word Warriors Writing Group, and, in conjunction with Life Seasons Support, special Chat & Craft events. Weekly events include a variety of day-long craft workshops for adults as well as Mommy (or Daddy) & Me, Bible Study, Bible Art Journaling, and A La Carte Craft time.

Giving Back

Based on our personal experiences, we have a heart for organizations that support healthy women, children, families, and veterans. The Grove will regularly support a charitable cause bringing awareness to and providing an outlet for the community to support those less fortunate. This will range from collecting donations to collaborative art auctioned off for the cause, as well as service projects coordinated by our community support group.
